Debt Counseling
Our Debt counseling company has been doing debt relief for 19 years as specialists trained to help you through difficult times. A specialist will help you to consolidate where all of your accounts are paid with one monthly payment; however, this is not a loan. National Credit Assistance (NCA) offers Consumer Credit Counseling that offers a Debt Management plan (DMP) to help consumers who are facing financial troubles.
In addition to providing software and support for the debt management you will receive help from a credit Specialist. You will also receive a Personal Financial Analysis (PFA) service at no cost. With the PFA service, our clients receive:
Your monthly service package will include:
- Personal Credit Coach
- 25K ID Theft Protection Insurance
- BBB Recognition
- 24⁄7 Fraud Monitoring
- Customized PFA
Debt Management Plan
A DMP concentrates on helping you lower the interest rates on your credit cards, we fill out all the paperwork and write the letters to alert the creditors to rework the payment plans, and then, distributes all the monthly payments to each of the creditors.
Could you negotiate lowering the interest rate yourself? Probably, but National Credit Assistance has a relationship with the credit card companies. If you seek third party help to pay your monthly credit card bills, you have surrendered control of who and how much gets paid to each of your creditors. Debt management takes over that burden, and portions of your monthly payment go to each creditor.
Debt Consolidation Benefits
- You only have one monthly payment rather than several
- Lower monthly payments than what you have been paying to your creditors
- Your creditors are getting paid something each month, so they will not be hounding you with phone calls
- Lower interest rates
- The fee to the NCA is small and the service is big
- You must destroy your current credit cards and not open up any new credit card accounts for the duration of the program
- Debt counseling sessions with a specialist are available to help you budget, save and help you to avoid future debt problems
The consumer must also realize that the full amount of the debt is being paid, plus interest to the credit card companies, plus the fees. The consumer only has to make one, often times lower, payment each month, BUT the length of the program needs to be taken into consideration here. Calculate the monthly payment by comparing the numbers of program month (usually 60) with the original debt with which you entered into the program.
